Senate Committees

The Senate is currently divided into five standing committees.  Each Senator serves on two committees, and each committee internally elects a Chair and Secretary.  Committees meet on a weekly basis, reviewing Senate legislation, recommending action to the Assembly, and working in tandem with Executive Departments.  The five standing committees include Finance and Budget, Outreach, Policy, Public Affairs, and Student Life.  Committee meetings are open to everyone, so check out the Upcoming Events section on the Homepage to find out how you can get involved.
